How To Prevent Salespeople From Knocking On Your Door In Colorado can be removed

I just moved and love my new home, but there is one big problem. The front door has a glass window that lets people see inside, even though it’s not very clear. I wouldn’t be doing anything I don’t want other people to see, but how do I keep strangers from knocking on the door?

Even worse, how can I keep salespeople or religious groups that want to convert me from calling my door?

There used to be a lot of regular “no soliciting” signs around in the 1970s and 1980s, but now I think most people just ignore them.

I remember making a sign back then that said something like, “Do not knock on this door unless you are a neighbor or a child selling candy or cookies for a school or group.” I used more vivid words. It seemed rude.

I learned this new way of doing things this morning and was really amazed by it. Someone on Reddit shared a picture of a house where Door Dash was delivered and people had come up with a great way to keep people from knocking on the door.
